The most beautiful view and an intimate setting with a nice few restaurants - perfect 3 night stay

Some of the food carts provided by the pool and beach area were cooking meats that may not have been prepared so thoroughly, which gave me food poisoning

Overall, very good indeed. I would go back!

The beach and pool areas are lovely, and the staff are - without exception - helpful and good natured. Comfortable beds, great showers. Catering was excellent and the all inclusive option well worth the money. Excellent gym.

The traffic noise lagoon side. You will need earplugs on the lower floors, but my advice would be to book a pool or sea view (worth it). I thought the lagoon view would make a change, but didn’t realise essentially on a highway that has a lot of traffic all night. We changed rooms.

Nice place, great staff, excellent beach, good value

Staff was very friendly and always helpful. An exceptional section of beach. Spacious and clean. Plenty of places to sit or lay. Modern clean facilities. Rooms were good, much as expected. My room developed a problem and within an hour I was move to another much better room. Food was of good quality.

I would have liked better night entertainment, not much to do at night on location. They did theme night for the food, Italian, asian, etc., but still not a lot of variety, lunch menu did not change. Personally I would have like more authentic Mexican must of the time.

We had an awesome stay at NYX!! Staff was helpful and friendly!! Beautiful facility!!

The unique architecture was beautiful and gave a real old world vibe. The chairs on the beach were comfy, the room and balcony size were awesome.

The pools were not very big and the shower was tiny in comparison to the room size.

Beautiful beach location

Wasn't as big as other hotels so felt a bit more secluded. Good location and 30 min walk to coco bongos. Got upgraded to a lagoon view room due to availability which was lovely!

Food options weren't great - dishes were left under the hot plate for a while so came out a little cold. However restaurant staff were very good.

We spent the last leg of our Mexico trip at NYX, 5 nights all inclusive. It is an average all inclusive hotel at best Staff generally can’t be bothered to help you Reception staff- - first time we messaged to say our room 2306 was ridiculously loud at night only to be moved up a floor to a bigger room (two roomed suite vs our 1 small room) that we had paid for as a sunset suite, to be told “oh yes last week someone complained about how noisy that room was but they loved this room we are going to move you to” - this isn’t what you want to hear on your honeymoon. - secondly booking a taxi, we wanted to prebook as they had reached out and told us we could do so on booking.com only to be told it is quite long for them to fill out the form to do it (I believe this was Olivier) and that it would be easier for them if we just hailed one on the day, again this is not the level of service you should expect and nothing should be too much trouble, especially something little as booking a taxi - food service in deck and breakfast - the waiters think anything is an inconvenience I asked for hot water for myself and my husband in the morning in addition to a coffee and he was huffing telling us we already had one drink? We’re on holiday let us have two hot drinks! Consistency of service is also off, you don’t always get served the same sometimes you’ll get different drinks, stronger, different ingredients there is no consistency - it is pure luck if you’re on the beach whether your order will turn up we ordered food and drinks and it is like the lottery. Sometimes it’s much quicker to just go and get it yourself Food at deck is no better than a snack bar, expect mostly cold or tepid food especially chips and rice what are probably batch cooked and just spooned out when you need them. If it was a restaurant that we pay per trip (although I guess technically we are paying!

The kitchen staff, common areas and the beach club were great.

There was an issue with the electricity, spent about 10 hours without electricity and the hotel had no will to help or accomodate us. Imagine since 4pm passed 8am with no electricity in the room, no ac, no bath light, had to sleep with the balcony door opened while it was raining. No apologize no explanations no nothing from the hotel management.

We enjoyed the staying, but the room sound insulation should be improved

The restaurant Umami - so delicious, we enjoyed our food 10/10. Im still thinking about their amazing food. Also at the main restaurant by the beach was quite tasty! The room was clean, we had some problems with a toilet facilities, the stuff repaired it immediately. A large number of sunbeds. And great location near the malls and restaurants.

A horrible door between ours and the neighbouring room. This old thin door doesn’t block noise, it looks like you live with your neighbours in one room. I woke up several times at night because of the snoring from the neighbouring room.. Also because of the music at the lobby bar it’s impossible to sleep before it ends (around 11), it’s not fun especially you travel with a child. I think it because of the same old thin entry door. The main restaurant menu the same every day, wish to have more variety.

Great place for a short getaway

First I got upgraded by Booking.com based on status and then was offered an extra upgrade by the resort for $50 so although we didn't get the penthouse we were sold on we got a great suite with an ocean view and balcony. The Food on the whole was decent at this hotel, the breakfast buffet was pretty much everything you would expect, as was the beachside cafe. The two feature restaurants were far better than one normally expects from an all inclusive hotel with fantastic food quality and service. Be sure to pre-book airport shuttle to avoid getting ripped off at the airport.

I do get annoyed with the "top shelf" system. This was the first all inclusive that I have stayed in that charged for some things and not for others. I am not fussy enough to pay the extra but that doesn't mean i am not disappointed. Shortage of Diet drinks and decaffeinated beverages in the room's catering offering was also a bit meh.

Good hotel, nice location and breakfast.

The location is really good, the breakfast staff is also very friendly and the people who receive you are nice as well. The hotel is nice and clean and the rooms are pretty good.

Some of the interactions with the frontdesk were not the best ones. We understand that transport/shuttle is provided by a 3rd party but the hotel always had somebody that would approach to you at the entrance and the waiting area of cars, so you could provide a much better service if you used this personal to radio over to the lobby when the shuttle is looking for people. This is the only thing I did not like of the hotel, the front-desk people did not really help much when it comes to service to notify their guests when a shuttle has arrived.

The staff and facilities were amazing. Room was spacious and beach was absolutely stunning.

Would’ve given a 10/10 if there were more food options at night. Each night had a different country theme, and there weren’t any other options if you didn’t like that country’s food.

Expensive. Better buy "all inclusive", because otherwise hotel restraunt prices might surprise you. "all inslusive" wasn't an obvious option here on booking when I made a reservation. All my friends got it and I didn't, which was upsetting after all. Noticed cockroach in my room the night I arrived.
